Unraced sixth foal out of a sister to the German 1m Group 2 winner Sehrezad; sister to a couple of winners including Macchus (6f juvenile) and Jet Setter (5f-7f).
Unraced Oasis Dream filly who is a third foal out of the 1m+-2m winner Rumh; half-sister to a couple of very classy horses including 2017 Prix Marcel Boussac winner/2018 Oaks runner-up Wild Illusion; hooded.
Filly by Le Havre who fetched €75,000 as a yearling and was resold for €110,000; took a step forward on her second start when finishing a held ¾L second (of four) to Pennywhistle at Newmarket last week (7f).
Unraced first foal out of a 1m1f-1m2f winning dam (Wall Of Sound), so plausible that she'll need a slightly longer trip in time; stable respected, and worth a check in the market.
Unraced 12th foal who is a half-sister to five winners including Gender Agenda (7f-1m1f) and Unex El Greco (7f-1m4f); others preferred.
135,000gns yearling, but has failed to make a major impression in a couple of recent 6f contests at Yarmouth (good to firm), including when finishing second of three to 1/8f winner Autumn Splendour.
Unraced stablemate of Embrace The Moment; $20,000 foal, 50,000gns yearling; ninth foal with a largely US-based pedigree; half-sister to US 1m+ dirt/turf winner Drink On This.
Once-raced daughter of Holy Roman Emperor (cost €90,000 as a yearling); stayed on and not reach the leaders when finishing just over 3L sixth of eight to Aquarius at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) in June; improvement likely over this trip.
$77,000 yearling; €270,000 juvenile; fifth foal out of the US stakes-placed 6f winner Stroll By; half-sister to US 5f turf winner March On, so interesting to see what the early market exchanges make of her chances.
Forecasts
Ceratonia (5/4), Flighty Almighty (7/2), Embrace The Moment (5/1), Teresita Alvarez (8/1), Queen Constantine (14/1), Just Be Friendly (14/1), Belle Chanel (25/1), Model Guest (33/1), Octavia Minor (33/1)
A fairly complex looking opener which for the majority of these connections will be mainly about the future long-term racing careers (and interests) of these expensively acquired fillies. EMBRACE THE MOMENT is the form horse after her pleasing run at Newmarket last week, so she's highly likely to do herself justice and she rates as a leading contender. Queen Constantine shaped as if a step up to 7f wouldn't go amiss on her debut, and whilst this might prove too competitive, she is one to note for the future, whilst the level of market confidence (or not) probably holds the key to the chances of newcomers Teresita Alvarez and Ceratonia.
- Embrace The Moment
- Ceratonia
- Teresita Alvarez
