Half-brother to useful 6f-1m winner California Laws. Belied big price when close fifth on debut at Lingfield, and proved that was no fluke when third to Zip Along in 6f novice at Doncaster last time. Has speed to cope with drop in trip now.
Both starts have come for different trainers, winning on 5f debut at Pontefract for Richard Guest in April 2017. Similar form when third on belated return at Doncaster last month, and should be fitter now. Has left Jeremy Noseda.
Bred to be speedy, but no impact in two starts to date, finishing 8l behind Gisele's Angel at Doncaster last time. One for the longer term, perhaps.
Swiss Spirit half-sister to a pair of 5f winners, and cost 36,000 gns as a yearling. That price dropped to just 1,000 gns earlier this year, however, and fitting of a hood for debut is a concern.
Needed debut run and shaped much better when second of five in a 5f novice at Bath three weeks ago. Has a bit to find, but seems to be going the right way.

Not the most competitive race of its type, and while ONEOVDEM is neither fashionably bred or trained, he clearly possesses plenty of dash, and looks the answer now dropping to five furlongs. Gisele's Angel should have benefited from her first start in over a year at Doncaster, and is preferred to Sparkalex for the forecast spot.
