Started at big prices in both his novice hurdles and has shown very little that would encourage you to support him; best watched.
Had looked as though he might be interesting in handicap company but has run below-par in his last two tries in that sphere (both here over further). Now back into a maiden he'll find this a lot harder even back to a more suitable trip.
Useful on the Flat at one time he's been placed on all his hurdles starts although the last effort over further here was below-par. Looks to have more of a chance back at this trip with handicaps looking to be a better option though.
Consistent sort who has finished in the runner-up slot in his last three starts and ran his best race when making his handicap debut (first-time blinkers) over C&D. Not in the same form last time (novices') but won't be far away here.
Winner on his point-to-point debut and showed that ability on his Rules debut in a Stratford bumper. Shaped better than the bare result there although he did race freely and found little when asked for his effort; hurdles debut.
Had an amazing 15 runs in bumpers in France (never won one; placed nine times) and showed some aptitude for hurdles on her debut over C&D. Chased home at odds-on favourite there who has been beaten since; only a limited chance.
Little impact in four starts in point-to-points and much the same result when tried in Irish bumpers finishing well held. Now goes hurdling and easily opposed.
Winner of a bumper on her debut for this yard she's yet to win over hurdles but has turned in some fine efforts the last twice in handicaps. That form is strong enough to land this despite the fact that this trip may be a little on the short side.
Very little encouragement in two starts so far in a bumper and novice hurdle some 10 months apart. Looks limited on the evidence so far and can only be watched.

Local handler James Moffatt has been the trainer to follow in this event over the past few years having won four of the last five runnings but the stable are having a poor time here this year (1-43). He runs The Steward in this and although he’s shown ability over hurdles he looks as though another place may be the best he can hope for. Beach Break won’t be far away based on his hurdles form so far although his best chance lies in handicaps. His trainer Don McCain has another candidate in this with Noah And The Ark who looks interesting in time after his sole bumper run. Ultimately this looks a solid chance for LUCCA LADY to get off the mark after some very sound handicap efforts of late.
