Two good efforts since joining this yard and switching to hurdles. Beaten 8L into second at Uttoxeter (2m4f, good) earlier this month and is one for the shortlist with cheekpieces applied for the first time.

Point-to-point winner on soft-to-heavy ground in February and wore a hood (retained) when winning a 2m bumper at Worcester (good) on Rules debut last month. Interesting upped in trip on hurdling debut.
Point-to-point winner in 2017 but absent for over a year prior to debuting for this yard last month. Stepped up on that effort when 16L third over C&D last time but more needed in this contest.

Placed in a point-to-point from two runs but pulled up on his most recent appearance and is probably best watched on Rules debut.

Signs of ability in a point-to-point on debut last month but well held subsequently. Interesting to see how he fares on Rules debut.

Placed in a couple of bumpers for Nigel Hawke in autumn 2014. Absent since however and making her hurdling debut for a new yard.
Placed a couple of times on the Flat in 2015. Beaten 41L over C&D on hurdling and stable debut earlier this month and others make more appeal.

Horse silk
11/2
Improved on hurdling debut when finishing 3L second over C&D on good ground earlier this month. Remains open to improvement and is of interest once more.

Forecasts

Cotton Club (10/11), Push The Tempo (13/8), Hoover Fever (11/2), Royal Chieftain (20/1), The Black Mcguigan (25/1), Benim (28/1), Secret Palace (50/1), Anis Des Malberaux (66/1), Warrateg (66/1)

Verdict

COTTON CLUB looks to have been found a nice opening in the shape of the opening novice hurdle. The son of Amadeus Wolf has run to a decent level in two starts over hurdles and can get off the mark at the third attempt with Push The Tempo capable of finishing runner-up stepping up in distance on his first start over hurdles. Hoover Fever receives weight all round and having run well last time out she can finish third.
  1. Cotton Club
  2. Push The Tempo
  3. Hoover Fever
