Sound efforts the last twice including when finishing second over C&D here last time. Slowly nudging up the weights without winning but every reason to expect another bold showing under ideal conditions with Tom Scudamore taking over in the saddle.
Improved on close-up second to win at Worcester (2m, good to firm) two weeks ago. Nudged up 4lbs for that win but in fine fettle and this race is no stronger so sound claims once again.
Hasn't won in 12 starts now and has finished second on his last three starts. Nothing wrong with his attitude though and bigger worry is climbing the weights without winning. Leading contender all the same.
Having her first start fro this yard well sent off a well-backed favourite at Hexham last month. Jumping was sloppy there and she was struggling from an early stage. Dropped 5lb but needs to bounce back here. Interesting to see if the money comes.
Not sure the step up in trip was in his favour when struggling at Aintree (2m4f, good) last month. Slipping in the weights but would need to see much more before becoming of interest despite the drop back in trip.
Showed steady improvement last year after joining this yard. Not seen for almost a year now and although he makes his handicap debut off a workable mark, the market may be a good guide to his fitness levels.
Couldn't make the most of what looked a good opportunity dropped into a selling handicap on Tuesday. This is a stronger race so will need to up his game to take this.
Forecasts
Red Hot Chilly (2/1), Collodi (7/2), Intifadah (5/1), Included (5/1), Red Ochre (11/2), The Grinder (10/1), Patience Tony (25/1)
Intifadah passed up an easier opportunity than this at Worcester on Tuesday but is respected all the same. Red Hot Chilly is on the improve and is very much respected off his 4lb higher mark that for his win last time. COLLODI has run really well the last twice and can benefit now from the stronger handing of Tom Scudamore in the saddle.
