4/1

Landed a 12/1 shock in a Roscommon handicap hurdle earlier this month over this trip getting off the mark at the fifth time of asking off a 6lb lower mark. Another bold show looks likely.

Form: P-67001

Le Braye^t¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: G N Fox| T: G P Cromwell| OR: 99

9/2

Ran well to finish third of 13 beaten 2L in a Bellewstown handicap hurdle earlier this month when possibly flattered by the finishing position. Appears to go better on softer ground and others preferred.

Form: 6P14-P3

About You^p¹²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: Danny Mullins| T: M Hourigan| OR: 98| BF| CD

7/2

C&D winner here last month when beating 13 rivals ½L on good ground off a 6lb lower mark. The mare has been beaten since but boasts each way claims in this company.

Form: 62-013P

Bee A Beneficiary^h⁴⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Donagh Meyler| T: D Queally| OR: 98

12/1

Maiden after eight hurdle starts and has been well down the field on her last two starts on good ground. May struggle on the surface once again.

Form: 2225-08

Ourmanmassini^t⁴²

Age: 10| Weight: 11-9| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott| OR: 98

7/1

102-rated handicap hurdler two years ago for trainer Suzy Smith and has generally been kept to point-to-point and chase starts for current yard. Worth a market check.

Form: F1P2P-5

Brosna George^p1⁸¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Paul Townend| T: R O'Sullivan| OR: 95

6/1

Not disgraced in a number of handicap hurdles since the turn of the year including finishing second of 10 over C&D in April. First-time cheekpieces may well assist the seven-year-old here.

Form: 24835-2

Bere Haven^t⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-11| J: K J Brouder⁽⁷⁾| T: Ian O'Connor| OR: 86

8/1

Has disappointed connections since returning to this isle in four below-par starts including on return from a break when well held on Sunday at Sligo.

Form: 37704-U

Randall's Aoibhinn^b1,t⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-9| J: M J Bolger| T: S Fahey| OR: 84

25/1

Seven race maiden including four defeats over hurdles and first time blinkers doubtful to bring about the required amount of progress needed to play a role here.

Form: 059/8-64

Colette's Choice^p¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-8| J: Phillip Enright| T: D Hassett| OR: 83

33/1

Has failed to finish her last two starts including being pulled up on first start for new connections earlier this month at Tipperary. Hard to fancy.

Form: 4090F-P

Forecasts

About You (7/2), I Keano (4/1), Le Braye (9/2), Brosna George (6/1), Ourmanmassini (7/1), Bere Haven (8/1), Bee A Beneficiary (12/1), Randall's Aoibhinn (25/1), Colette's Choice (33/1)

I KEANO landed a 12/1 shock in a Roscommon handicap hurdle earlier this month over this trip and can confirm his well-being continuing his progression here in this company. Potential improver, Brosna George in first time cheekpieces, the Gavin Cromwell-trained Le Braye and previous C&D winner About You can battle for the minor places.
