Not seen in this sort of form or mood for quite some while and completed a hat-trick last time over C&D in a race that allowed him to put away some inferior rivals easily. Settled things with his trademark turn of foot; should continue to thrive.

Has shown some useful form in the past but looks to need rejuvenating (on a long losing run). Fared better than on late on his second run for this yard and now has a tongue-tie added to his usual blinkers; can look temperamental though.

His overall form is rather inconsistent and despite a mark that is easing there are only minimal signs that he's ready to take advantage. Not totally disgraced at Haydock last time out without looking an immediate winner and others appeal more.

A winner over further he was even tried at 1m for his first two runs this season but had looked better since returning to sprinting (5f last twice). Looked a little unfortunate not to finish closer last time on AW and worth a try at 6f.

Form this year has a very uneven feel to it and he's looked temperamental on occasions (often slow away). Ran his best race of the season back from a wind op at Catterick over 6f recently; now in first-time cheekpieces still one to take care with.

Trainer does well with sprinters especially those in these colours but this one has yet to fire this year; below-par at York recently. All his best form has come on much softer ground though; will looks well handicapped when he gets those conditions

Verdict

It looks as though MUJASSAM who has been well placed whilst completing his hat-trick has hit on another relatively weak race for the grade although his mark is beginning to climb again. He’s now back to the mark that he was on when starting life with David O’Meara but has shown none of his quirks of late. Most of the others have something to prove although Lomu returned to sprinting offered some promise last time out and with his stable starting to fire he looks the main danger. Both Boundsy and King Robert feature off reduced marks but need to show more to take advantage whilst Manshood needs ground softer than this.
