Maiden under both codes, and struggling for form over hurdles of late. Best Flat efforts (for Richard Hannon) give him claims, not shown enough of late to be of interest.

been out of sorts over hurdles of late and whilst you can make a pretty fair case for him from a handicapping perspective back on the flat, it's impossible to be confident.

Ran well the last twice without winning and has been nudged up the weights as a result. Cheekpieces added here and every reason to believe she will be right in the mix once again in this field.

50/1 and tailed off on first start for this yard on the flat at Hamilton ( 1m4f, soft) last month. That was his first start since a wind operation and he should strip much fitter now. Market a good guide as he is looking dangerously handicapped.

Now a seven race maiden who's best effort came when narrowly denied by Crindle Carr at kempton last month. Poor on two starts since and needs to bounce back to his best to be involved. Cheekpieces now added.

Beat Moan's Cross a neck at Kempton last month. Up 3lb and in a deeper race here so not absolutely guaranteed to back that up. Chances once again if he does put his best foot forward though.

Raised 6lbs for going close against a well handicapped rival at Bath three runs back. Struggled off new mark in two starts since and that rise in the weights looks a bit harsh. Cheekpieces now added.

Form has tailed off somewhat of late and whilst she is starting to look attractively handicapped now its hard to fancy her all the same. Eye-shield is now added.

Three starts so far and has barley beaten a rival home so far. Goes up half a mile in trip for handicap debut and any market move would be interesting.

Fourth of 11 on handicap debut at Chelmsford (1m6f, AW) last time. Doesn't shape like this trip is necessarily what she wants but is lightly raced and still has some improvement in her.

Once again races from out the weights here having been in poor form of late. Hard to be positive about chances at the moment and we need to see plenty more.

Forecasts

Penny Poet (7/2), Acquirer (4/1), Giovanni Medici (4/1), Ava The Braver (6/1), Something Brewing (7/1), Moans Cross (7/1), Crindle Carr (8/1), Cue's Folly (12/1), All About The Pace (14/1), Helf (22/1), Starshell (33/1), Flat Out Eric (50/1)

Verdict

Any money around for Something Brewing would be interesting as he is potentially well handicapped on some of his hurdles form. Starshell is another for whom a market check is needed as he should strip fitter now. Ava The Braver is lurking towards the bottom of the weights and should be on the shortlist. PENNY POET has run really well the last twice and can get her head in front now with the cheekpieces added.
