Runner-up in a Taunton (3m, good-to-firm) novice hurdle in December 2016. Lightly raced since and absent since making his handicap debut at Cheltenham in April last year.
Impressive 9L winner upped in trip on debut for this yard at Fontwell (3m2f, good) last month. Wore a tongue tie (retained) for the first time that day and interesting with forecast going in his favour.
Stepped up on seasonal debut when finishing 6L third at Ffos Las (2m6f, good) at the end of May. Well held on the Flat since and an interesting runner back over hurdles.
Placed three times over hurdles including in a 2m4f contest on good ground here early last month. One to note with this step up in distance likely to suit.
Novice hurdle winner at Clonmel (2m4f, good) last September. Well beaten since however including on the Flat the last twice. Making just his second handicap start.
Won two of her last three starts including a 2m7f handicap hurdle at Worcester (good) last time out. Races off a 5lb higher mark here and is one to note once more.
Promising third on the Flat in early May on his first outing since wind surgery. Interesting to see how he fares on his return to hurdles.
Came home 16L clear of his rivals at Southwell (3m, good) last month and ran well to finish runner-up over this C&D subsequently. Races off a mark 12lb higher than for that Southwell victory.
Scottish National winner back in 2014 and still retains a fair level of ability. Hunter chase winner last season and interesting to see how he fares on his first hurdles outing in over two years.
