Back with his former yard after three runs in Ireland (with Henry de Bromhead) but showed very little over there (just one Flat run). Won a maiden over this trip on the AW but hat remains his only success; given a chance by the handicapper.
C&D winner who has fallen to a reasonable mark now courtesy of a losing run that stretches back to early last year. Certainly fared better of late in a Chester handicap over this trip and well weighted if she can build on that effort.
Opened her account with a win on her first run for the yard at Thirsk before dropping in trip on quicker ground to take 2nd last time out. Much better back at this trip and only 2lb higher than her last win; leading candidate.
Looks to have some potential if she can settle better but is still lightly raced; will only be her third handicap start (poorly placed last time). Needs more of stamina test than this; trainer has an excellent record in handicaps at this track.
Successful over this trip earlier in the month showing improved form she could follow that up earlier in the week over further at Ayr. Tried to make all last time and flattered in the end by her proximity to the winner; should run her race.
The lesser of two runners in this race for the trainer she's not the most straightforward despite having won over C&D twice before. She ran one of her better races last time out but has looked increasingly awkward and not one to trust.

Michael Bell has a very good record with his handicappers at Catterick and India is of interest here after she ran well enough from her poor track position last time at Yarmouth it could well be though that she needs a little more of a stamina test. Fire Leopard if she runs will need a good gallop to run at with Monaco Rose now looking well weighted if she can build on her last effort at Chester. Claramara has found some form of late but it’s PRINCESS NEARCO who makes most appeal here having not appreciated the drop in trip last time she returns to distance which should show her in a much better light.
- Princess Nearco
- Monaco Rose
- India
