Made a winning debut over 7f at the Curragh (good to firm) last month, springing a 33/1 shock. Held since at Tipperary and probably vulnerable again here for win purposes.

Lethal Force gelding out of a Holy Roman Emperor mare. Stable in consistent form this term and did well to get up late on and make winning debut at Roscommon (7f, good) last month.

No joy in pair of Curragh maidens over 6f but raised game when fifth of 11 in Listed Chesham Stakes at Ascot last month over 7f, represents Ballydoyle and must hold strong claims.

Betting

Forecast

Cardini (4/5), Kestrel Prince (3/1), Copia Verborum (7/2), Lethal Turbo (6/1), Iridessa (20/1), Patriot's Day (33/1), Rex Place (66/1)

Verdict

Cardini is entitled to plenty respect for Ballydoyle here after an improved showing in Listed company at Ascot last month, but this isn't as straightforward as the betting might suggest. KESTREL PRINCE showed a good attitude to get up and win at Bellewstown on debut and should improve for the experience. He can go well under the champion jockey. Copia Verborum and Lethal Turbo are also capable of having a say while newcomer Rex Place is one to take a look for in the betting too.
  1. Kestrel Prince
  2. Cardini
  3. Lethal Turbo
