Three fairly quick runs to his name over 5f in April/May showed some ability but he did look as though he would be more of nursery type. Already has a mark (62) but connections stay in novice company; others appeal more.
Newcomer who is a half-brother to 1m2f winner Huddersfilly Town and two-year-old 6f winner Dorcas. Dam was also a juvenile 6f winner and well worth noting in the market from a yard that have had winning debutantes.
Just the one run so far when finishing third at Pontefract (6f; modest form) but did show something to work on from a yard who have had a poor juvenile season. Will have learnt from that although the return to 5f may not be ideal.
Already gelded he's shown nothing more than a modicum of ability in three starts at up to 6f. Doubtful if he's good enough to make an impact here and if he is to win a race it's more likely to be in nursery company.
Stepped up on his debut form when taking third at Thirsk on his second run over 6f sticking on well. Given how well he stayed on last time it's debateable how well this 5f trip will suit as he tries it for the first time.
Yard took a division of this race last year although not with a newcomer as this daughter of Footstepsinthesand is. Has some quite smart relations and no surprise to see her make a bold bid on her debut.
Already has a mark for nurseries and the yard won a division of this race last year but she doesn't look of the same ability and will do well to repeat that win for the trainer. Showed up relatively well last time; one for handicaps.

There look to be one or two potential nursery types in this out of the more experienced runners and the Richard Fahey newcomer NORTHERN LASS is taken to make a winning debut with the drop in trip a slight worry for her two main dangers Diamonique and Salmon Fishing. Both those two are capable of winning a race like this but looks to have been happier or need 6f. Most of the others will be better off in handicaps although the other newcomer Northernpowerhouse would be of interest if there was market confidence displayed in him.
