Hacked up over course and distance last term and duly went up 8lb. Never looked likely to score since but gradually returning to a realistic mark. Top jockey booked this time so may bounce back.
Good yard has respectable 15% strike rate here. Won three times last year but has struggled off higher marks so far this campaign. Dropped 5lb since last run and claiming rider allowed a further 7lb so looks potentially well in old form.
Two good wins at the end of last season have left her struggling off higher marks this campaign and hasn't really looked as though she is a winner-in-waiting, although did go well at Goodwood three starts back.
Didn't look an easy ride when runner-up at Chelmsford last month but showed fair form last term and a return to that level would give her a chance. Has something to prove though after latest effort.
Well bred Acclamation filly won on second start at Newcastle in March and may have needed the run when third after three-month break at Newmarket last time. Entitled to improve for that outing and should be thereabouts.
Has shown ability in three unplaced starts to date and makes handicap bow this time off a feasible mark. represents top connections so no surprise to see an improved display at this level.
Goes particularly well at Brighton where she has won on three occasions. Hasn't really threatened in last three outings and looks to have plenty to do on that evidence.

Regina Pacis (9/4), Sharp Practice (9/4), Zoraya (3/1), Pride's Gold (5/1), Kyllachys Tale (10/1), Hollydaze (11/1), Andalusite (16/1), Rinaria (16/1)
A trappy finale a in which a case can be made for most of the eight runners. PRIDE'S GOLD just gets the nod having run with credit last time at Royal Ascot in a better contest. Regina Pacis is another relatively unexposed filly and might prove the main danger having hinted she could be capable of better than we have seen so far. Rinari is weighted to go well, while both Sharp Practice and Zoraya are not without a chance.
