Promising second over 1m2f on debut for this yard last month. Well beaten in a highly competitive handicap over this trip subsequently but remains of interest here.

Running well in recent starts and finished runner-up over this trip at Thirsk (good-to-firm) last time out. One to note racing off a 1lb lower mark.

Forecast

Mutadaffeq (11/8), Atkinson Grimshaw (11/4), Sea Youmzain (7/2), Kajaki (13/2), Mr Sundowner (33/1)

Verdict

MUTADAFFEQ has been in good form of late and he can register his fourth career success by taking this five runner handicap. The selection ran well to place second last time and can get the better of the sole filly in the contest Sea Youmzain, a dual winner already this term. Atkinson Grimshaw proved a disappointment last time out but can put that behind him by claiming third.
