Sprang a 66/1 shock when returning from a break on his 4th hurdles start having been pulled-up twice previously to score at Kelso (market leaders disappointed). Backed up that effort under a penalty to a certain extent last time; place chance again.
Point-to-point and bumper winner (Listed placed in bumpers) who has taken well to hurdles (2-2); favourite on both occasions. Brushed aside a previous winner at Stratford last time and now has double penalty to overcome in search of a hat-trick.
Fair maiden on the Flat (rated in the upper 70's) his hurdling debut at Hexham was modest and no more but did offer something to work on. Comes here fit off the back of a Flat outing but work to do on what he's shown so far.
Had two bumper runs almost two years apart and showed very little in those before looking badly in need of the experience in two recent hurdles runs. The latest came over C&D (jumped poorly); needs this run for a mark and handicaps await.
Flat maiden who showed some fair form in that sphere (rated mid 60's) but his two hurdling effort (a year plus apart) have lacked any encouragement. Jumped poorly at Hexham last time (just behind Imperial Focus) and made little impression.
Well backed in his one bumper run when with Tom Lacey but ran below expectations and has offered little more in three runs for this yard (last two over hurdles). 6th behind Imperial Focus/You'll Do at Hexham last time (never beyond midfield).
Has a rather mixed pedigree (half-brother to four Flat winners) but his two bumper runs have shown that he has a modicum of ability. Now goes hurdling with the jockey booking taking the eye; won't need to be smart to get placed.
Very little Flat form on turf/AW he's shown a little more in two hurdles runs (half-brother to fair hurdler Phase Shift). Well beaten at Bangor last time over 2m but showed some promise (behind two subsequent next time winners); handicap project.

Forecasts
Grageelagh Girl (2/7), Placedela Concorde (7/2), Night Manager (5/1), Imperial Focus (14/1), Shackles (20/1), You'll Do (25/1), Solway Lark (33/1), Zamarkhan (50/1), Leonasisland (66/1)
GRAGEELAGH GIRL looks to have been found a very suitable opportunity in which to complete her hurdles hat-trick and remain unbeaten over hurdles with credible opposition thin on the ground and certainly not looking any better than those she defeated at Newton Abbot and Stratford. Placedela Concorde has posted a respectable effort after his shock Kelso win but it would be a surprise if he was good enough under his penalty. Several of the other met each other in a recent Hexham novice with Imperial Focus coming out best of that quartet but he has work to do on these terms. The Night Manager has shown promise in bumpers and will attract interest with Brian Hughes booked for his hurdles debut.
