Hasn't shown any worthwhile form for some time. Bombed out at Royal Ascot last time when set a tall order. Mush calmer waters here but hard to know where he is at on second start for this yard.

Shaped with promise on chase debut last time for her previous yard. Has had a wind operation and joined a yard that do very well with recruits from elsewhere so a market check is very much needed here on handicap chase debut.

Only two starts over fences so far and there has been some promise. jumping errors have been the biggest issue so needs to clean that up and could be a player on handicap chase debut.

Managed to scramble home at Worcester (2m½f, good) last month off a 6lb lower mark. Penalty makes life tougher but is going in the right direction and not discounted.

Twice a winner over hurdles under rules but a multiple winner of point-to-points including his last two. Makes his debut for a new yard today and clearly still has some of his old ability so interesting to see what the market makes of his chances.

Twice a C&D winner who finished second in the race he had won the year before here last month. Races off the same mark today and the visor goes on for the first time. Leading claims once more.

Losing run now stretches out more than two years and recent efforts don't suggest it will be broken here.

Made all to win over C&D in August last year but has looked badly out of sorts so far in 2018. Needs to do much more and others are preferred.

Forecasts

King's Reste (11/8), New Millennium (9/4), Top Chief (4/1), Saffron Prince (5/1), Scrupuleux (8/1), No No Cardinal (10/1), Accessallareas (22/1), Changing The Guard (22/1), L'Attesa (40/1)

Verdict

KING'S RESTE is another new recruit to the Skelton team that has had a wind operation since her last run. She could be on a lenient mark and is taken to make it first time lucky for her new team. New Millennium needs to brush up his jumping but would be a big player if doing so on handicap chase debut. Top Chief clearly retains some of his old ability and having joined Colin Tizzard could go well.
