Not been with this yard very long and has been running over fences with credit of late. Hurdles mark is slightly higher but has the assistance of an excellent young rider and leading claims of being involved.

Not the easiest of rides and can be pretty lazy at times so Bridget Andrews will need to be at her best. Reverts from chasing back to hurdles and is on a fair mark so a case can be made. Cheekpieces go on for the first time

Had a couple of runs now this year so should be cherry ripe in terms of fitness. Blinkers added here in an effort to eek out a bit more as he tends to run well without winning.

Having her first run for a year when finishing seventh over this C&D last week. Should come on for that and is now 4lb below here last winning mark so you can make a case for her going well.

Won a point-to-point back in April. Beaten a long way back in a handicap last week and tough to make a strong case for despite his falling mark.

three starts so far this year and he's been well beaten on all three occasions. Mark is slipping but hard to recommend until showing plenty more.

Won off a 2lb lower mark over fences back in May but has struggled in two subsequent starts. Needs to bounce back to his best to be involved here.

Forecasts

Lord Topper (2/1), Court King (10/3), Linguine (5/1), Rise Of An Empire (5/1), Sedgemoor Express (6/1), Very Extravagant (7/1), Royals And Rebels (20/1)

Verdict

Court King can need some riding at times but should be capable of getting involved at this level with the cheekpieces added today for the first time. Very Extravagant has dropped to a tempting mark and could be a player. We will take a chance that RISE OF AN EMPIRE will appreciate this switch back to hurdles and can gain a deserved victory for his excellent young rider.

  2. Court King
  3. Very Extravagant
