Losing run starting to mount up now and he's still above his last winning handicap mark. May want a return to the AW or some leniency from the handicapper before he gets his head in front.
Had wind surgery in the off-season and took a big step forward from his seasonal bow when narrowly denied at Kempton last time out. His strike-rate is a little off-putting but there's every chance he could be a different proposition this year.
Lost his maiden tag over 1m2f on AW last month but disappointed at Salisbury last time, though finished a place ahead of re-opposing Burgonet. Still early days and too soon to be writing off.
Ran well on his first start in a handicap over C&D last month when a 1L second of eight. Every chance this mark underestimates him and he should go well.
Won a Newcastle maiden on debut but has failed to get his head back in front in six starts on turf. Disappointing at Windsor last time and has a bit to prove at present.

SPORTING TIMES is the tentative selection in what is a competitive race and he's expected to take another step forward from an improved effort last time out. Burgonet would be a danger to all if let loose on the lead while Mapped is still unexposed and gave the impression he could be dangerous from this sort of handicap mark going forward last time out.
