Finally got off the mark under rules winning a Clonmel beginners chase at the 14th time of asking last month. Enters calculations despite 9lb rise.
Winner of this race 12-months ago off a 6lb lower mark. Four of his last six starts have come over timber so is worth a market check as he attempts to win this event for a second year.
By no means disgraced in his two chase starts in recent months but needs to improve dramatically to take a hand here.
Sole chase win in 14 starts came over 12-months ago, well held on several occasions since and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to land a blow here.
Distance winner of a Bellewstown handicap hurdle earlier this month which may have him spot on to win a chase at the seventh time of asking.
Currently in a run of poor form and first-time cheekpieces unlikely to help the cause in anyway in this company.
Distance winner who was a beaten favourite when last seen in May in a Downpatrick handicap chase when fourth of 13 over a similar trip. Could be of interest now 2lb lower than last winning mark.
Gelding who is without a win in seven starts over fences and whose jumping leaves quite a bit to be desired.
Beaten favourite earlier this month in a Wexford handicap chase over 2m4f following a 1L win at the track in June. Clearly better than his last start and one for the shortlist stepping back up in trip.
Nothing of note in a number of dismal displays over the larger obstacles since December. Hard to fancy on latest evidence.
First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed for the gelding who has started at 100/1 on his last three starts.
Unable to halt alarming slide in form with a number of inept efforts over the larger obstacles including a heavy defeat at Tramore last month. Hard to place any faith in.
14-race maiden across the board on the Flat and in bumpers, hurdles and three disappointing starts over fences. Opposable on two seasonal starts to date.
Not won in 28 starts under Rules and hard to fancy on evidence of two disappointing seasonal starts last month.

Running In Heels (4/1), Cadawill (4/1), Roevin Star (5/1), Better B Quick (7/1), October Revolution (8/1), Tiger Sam (9/1), Bold Sky (10/1), Whatdoes Jack Say (16/1), Present News (20/1), Quarry Rua (20/1), Black Jewel (20/1), Lash It On (25/1), B C's Pride (25/1), Aranhill Rascal (25/1), Admiral Bob (50/1)
Trainer Noel Meade appears to have TIGER SAM coming to hand at the right time and can land the spoils here to build on his eye-catching fourth of 13 on seasonal debut at Downpatrick in May. The Beneficial gelding is now 2lb lower than his last winning mark and can take full advantage over Gavin Cromwells Running In Heels and last time out winner October Revolution. Last years winner Cadawill deserves plenty of respect attempting to win this again.

- Running In Heels
