Scoundrel and Burmese Blazer were first and third at Musselburgh in a lower grade race than this, although the runner-up has franked the form since. Oriental Splendour appeared to be coming to hand last time, but ALSVINDER beat a stronger looking field than this over C&D last time. Although up 4lb for that, he is still 22lb below his AW mark and looks to have been found a good opportunity to follow up.
