Game handicap hurdler who has gone up the weights without winning. Promising last run at Tipperary over 3m earlier this month when second of 20 beaten ½L puts him in the mix here.
Only got as far as the first on hurdling debut before finishing well down the field in a Bellewstown maiden earlier this month. Plenty to prove as present.
Appears to be improving with every hurdle start. Promising second of 16 beaten 2¾L earlier this month over 2m4f. First-time cheekpieces added to assist.
Plenty to like about his third of 12 in a Punchestown handicap hurdle when last seen in February but it cannot disguise the fact that the eight-year-old is an 18-race maiden hurdler and can be opposed here.
Won a Tramore handicap hurdle off a 6lb lower mark before being pulled up when tailed of next time out at Navan in January. Market likely to be the best guide on stable debut.
Well held over 3m at Perth last month following a C&D win here earlier beating 13 rivals by over 10L off a 7lb lower mark. Entitled to make the shortlist back at this trip.
One form nine hurdle starts for trainer Michael O'Hare. Not seen since October 2015 in a Fairyhouse handicap hurdle. Looks a tall order on return to the track.
Mare that has being well held in two maiden hurdle starts and on handicap debut last month. Out of sorts recently and others preferred.
Modest 88-rated maiden hurdler for Rebecca Menzies during the last campaign. Chasing more recently for the yard and looks an interesting acquisition for new connections who switch the mare back over hurdles on debut. Market likely to be best guide.
Not much to shout about in three maiden hurdle performances including being pulled up on St Stephen's Day in a Limerick maiden hurdle and a 123L defeat on New Years Day. Tough ask and other preferred.
Struggling for any sort of form and fell at here in June before being only getting as far as the first at Bellewstown earlier this month. Hard to place any faith in.
Nothing of note in seasonal starts to date for leading trainer and first time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed.
Forecasts
Damut I'm Out (5/2), Timmone (3/1), Shipwreck (7/1), Charlotte's Chum (8/1), Benarty Hill (10/1), Smiling Jessica (11/1), Tara Mia (12/1), Pump Road (12/1), Im Waiting (16/1), Shumaker (25/1), Some Pride (28/1), Ashbourne Allstar (33/1)
Although stable debutante, Smiling Jessica, C&D winner Shipwreck and Benarty Hill who has conditions to suit here, are all deserving of consideration it could turn in to a battle royal between two potential improvers Timmone second of 20 last time out and the Gavin Cromwell-trained DAMUT I'M OUT who can build on his last two promising starts to land the spoils in first-time cheekpieces.
- Damut I'm Out
- Timmone
- Benarty Hill
