Hooded for the first-time having failed to see out a trip that was 2f further on his debut. In reality he offered little though and low-grade handicaps will offer a better option in due course.

Bumper form has looked fairly modest and she was flattered by her debut on the Flat in a Listed contest. The only one to give the favourite a race when dropped to a more realistic grade next time she failed to repeat that effort last time.

Needs to be tackling longer trips that this before she is able to show any form with her two starts so far looking very modest. Hard to fashion a case for her here over 7f.

Both his runs so far have shown promise although the drop to this trip last time may not have suited ideally. Not knocked about last time and very much looking one for further and handicaps once he has a mark.
Beaten a long way in both his starts so far having been tried at 6f and 1m and looks another member of this field whose future lies in ordinary handicaps.

Progressed well from debut to second run and looks the sort to progress again having not been knocked around in that run finishing 4th to three useful enough sorts. Looks sure to do better again here with that behind her and found a soft race here.

Forecasts

Rippling Waters (11/10), Blizzard (7/4), Antiguan Rock (10/3), Prince Rock (33/1), Diana's Passion (50/1), Caledonia Earl (66/1), Tilsworth Rose (100/1)

Verdict

Not a strong event to finish off the card and it’s two of the fillies that standout in this with BLIZZARD given the narrow edge over Rippling Waters. The former of that duo just looks to have slightly more progress left in her and is taken to get off the mark here over Mick Channon’s charge who looked to regress slightly last time. Most of the others will be better in handicaps with Antiguan Rock taken to reach the frame before going on to have a better chance in handicaps over 1m plus.
  1. Blizzard
  2. Rippling Waters
  3. Antiguan Rock
