Would have needed the run last time out when returning from a long absence (started slowly; finished well held). Provided this trainer with a winner with his very first runner just over a year ago and capable in this grade.
Only had one run so far when finishing last in Stratford bumper and now switched to the Flat. Even in this company he faces a stiff task and makes little appeal.
Only modest and still a maiden she did run with credit last time in a Brighton 0-60 handicap (ran a bit free). Tried in this grade before and came up short then also ad if anything looks to need further; place chance.
Now gelded he has at least won a race scoring an AW nursery late last year over a distance just short of this one. Looked to be holding his form well of late in decent handicaps until his last two starts; drops in grade off a break.
The second runner in the race for this trainer with the headgear changed yet again to first-time blinkers. She offered little on her first start for the yard but is a C&D winner who looks as though she will improve on that (can be slow away though).
Showed nothing on his debut in a Goodwood maiden when a 50/1 chance and very swiftly dropped in grade; can only be watched here.
Maiden who finished a respectable 5th last time out in a 0-60 handicap over 2f further here but on the AW track. Had shaped as though that trip would suit so this drop to 1m2f may see things happening too quickly for him.
