Held at Worcester in a bumper on debut two years ago, only run once more under rule since. Did win a point-to-point in April and worth paying some attention to in betting for rules return.
Is 0 from 12 under rules and finally got off the mark at the eighth attempt in points last month. Makes debut for new yard today and interesting to see what the market makes of him on belated rules return.
Has run with credit on all three off his last hurdles runs finishing second each time. Vulnerable to anything with talent but very likely to run his race once again and a leading contender.
Not shown a great deal over fences of late and has had jumping issues. First start over hurdles today but no surprise to see that option taken now in an attempt to boost confidence.
Well beaten in a bumper and a novice hurdle back in 2016. Fell and pulled-up in two point-to-points this year. Up against it back under rules today having had a wind op.
Ran ok a couple of times towards the back end of last year. Was pulled-up on only start so far this year on handicap debut. Now starts life with a yard tat do well with recruits from elsewhere so market check very much needed and likely player.
Only had a couple of starts over hurdles way back in 2016 which didn't amount to much. Been off the track for almost two years and starts life for a new yard today. Market best guide.
Forecasts
Equus Flight (4/5), Motueka (2/1), Desert Retreat (7/1), Super Moon (10/1), An Scairp (14/1), Cojack (33/1), Kalangadoo (66/1), Hard Knocks (100/1)
Not a strong contest by any means. Desert Retreat is of minor interest back under rules for his new yard having won a point-to-point last time. Motueka has moved to a yard that do well with recruits from elsewhere and is certainly of interest. Slight preference is for EQUUS FLIGHT who has run consistently well on his last three runs and can gained a deserved victory in this slightly weaker race.
