Verdict

The recent form of the J P McManus-owned SANTIAGO DE CUBA may prove a little too strong for rivals here following solid display at Punchestown and Kilbeggan when second of 13 beaten 3½L recently. The Gordon Elliott-trained Serious Ego is likely to be primed for his hurdling debut and along with potential improver Gigiplan Two Seven can hit the frame in the opener.
