Won his last two starts over hurdles including by 12L at Perth (3m, good) last time out. Raised 16lb for that victory and likely to find life tougher upped in grade.

11/4
Narrowly beaten in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Worcester (good) last time out. Races off a 1lb higher mark here and is one to note with the step up in distance likely to suit.

Forecasts

Brave Eagle (9/4), Psychedelic Rock (11/4), Wynford (7/2), Jack Devine (7/1), The Tourard Man (11/1), Fingerontheswitch (14/1), Lough Salt (22/1), Knight Of Noir (25/1)

Verdict

BRAVE EAGLE looks an improving type and he can complete his hat-trick by taking what looks a competitive staying handicap hurdle. The selection appeared to appreciate the step up in distance last time and can get the better of Psychadelic Rock who wasn't beaten far over shorter last time and shapes as if this step up in distance will suit while Wynford, runner-up to the selection on his most recent start can finish third ahead of last years winner The Tourard Man
  1. Brave Eagle
  2. Psychedelic Rock
  3. Wynford
