Won twice in 2017, including over C&D on reappearance. All three efforts this term have fallen long way short of what is required however.
Won this race in 2015, hasn't scaled the heights so far this year but two most recent efforts were more positive and on a very handy mark now should he put it all together back at this track.
Experienced performer, scored over a mile on the AW at Newcastle in January but has struggled since then, including last of six over C&D last month. Drops in grade and has been given a chance by the assessor seemingly.
All three career starts have come here, including a win over this trip in novice company in middle outing (sent off 28/1). Didn't repeat trick since and opening handicap mark ask a question.
Steady progress in three qualifying runs ahead of this handicap debut, culminating in neck second in a low-grade C&D novice contest last time. Could improve again, needs to.

Corton Lad (9/4), Visitant (9/4), Home Before Dusk (7/2), Rock N Rolla (4/1), Glasses Up (5/1), Testa Rossa (17/2)
CORTON LAD has shown improved signs in two recent runs and is on a more than workable handicap mark as he bids to win this race for the second time in four years, his experience may prove a big asset now. Handicaps debutants Home Before Dusk and Glasses Up are respected as is Testa Rossa, who drops in class and has been cut some slack by the handicapper.
