Winner on debut at Lingfield but hasn't won since and he failed to justify favouritism at Haydock last time. Seemingly not the most straightforward type and others preferred. Wears first-time blinkers.
Belatedly off the mark at Windsor last month and followed up at Lingfield last time. Clearly going the right way at present and the form of his latest win has been franked. Leading claims just up 5lb.
One win from seven career starts. Began the campaign in fine fashion with a win at Beverley and a respectable placed effort at Catterick but his two subsequent runs have been disappointing and he may need more relief from the handicapper.
Slightly disappointing on AW debut at Wolverhampton last time out and still a maiden after five starts. Return to turf is a positive but has a fair amount to find on form from this sort of mark.
Improved from maiden company to win on handicap debut at Nottingham but couldn't back that up from a higher mark at Leicester last time. Still early days and yard's runners going well at present. Not ruled out in first-time cheekpieces.
Struggled as a juvenile but justified favouritism on second start for this yard when winning at Salisbury. Needs to settle better if making his presence felt at this level though and he was too keen again when last of six at Newmarket last time.
Yet to win in five starts. His better turf form has come on soft ground and he has a bit to prove off this sort of mark at present.
Forecasts
Gododdin (15/8), De Medici (4/1), Soldiers Bay (11/2), Jack Regan (6/1), Bajan Gold (6/1), Neverbeen To Paris (10/1), Nuits St Georges (14/1)
BAJAN GOLD is the one to beat here bidding for a hat-trick and the form of his success last time out has been franked by the runner-up winning since. Gododdin is respected in first-time headgear for a yard starting to hit some form while De Medici is another who turns to headgear and he was well backed last time out.
