Made all over C&D in May and was out of his depth last time. Claims back in this grade under a sought after rider.
Took her record to 2-22 last week when winning a similar contest. Yet to prove she stays this far in a truly run race such as this promises to be.
Clearly better on AW tracks but has form on turf and he returns to his optimum distance here on an attractive mark. Improved recently for the fitting of a tongue-tie and a slow pace did not help last time.
Took his record here to 3-6 when winning with something to spare a month ago. His record in this grade is less impressive and new mark demands greater improvement.
Hardly looked hands and heels material when opening his Flat account over 1m6f here three weeks ago. Soon in trouble at Newmarket and he probably carries too many doubts.
Forecasts
Bartholomew J (7/4), Sean O'Casey (5/2), Max Liebermann (4/1), Iconic Belle (9/2), Rubensian (20/1)
There is every chance of this being run at a decent pace and that will help RUBENSIAN who is well-handicapped on both his AW form and the pick of his runs on turf. Sean O'Casey is back to the grade and C&D that brought him recent success and he has the most experienced rider in the lineup. Iconic Belle may struggle to see out the trip under a penalty, whilst course winners Max Liebermann and Bartholomew J have work to do off their current marks,
- Rubensian
- Sean O'Casey
- Bartholomew J
