Won a C&D novices' hurdle in September (good to soft). Well below that form in handicaps since. Ought to be capable from this mark if back to the form of that success, but plenty to prove going into this.
1-24, that win coming over C&D (good) last yea, when 15lb lower. Has gone close several times since and been competitive back over C&D from today's mark on her last two starts. Each-way claims again.
Chasing a cross-code hat-trick today after a 1m5f Hamilton Flat win was followed by a 2m½f hurdles success at Market Rasen last time. Up 10lb for that comfortable 5L win, but improving and enters calculations.
0-10 under rules. Beaten just ½L here over C&D (soft) in April, when 4lb lower. Posted similar effort last time at Hexham after a 5lb rise. More needed, but not ruled out.
Sole hurdles win came at Downpatrick (2m3f, good) 13-months ago. Not seen since August, so has fitness to prove, and record when fresh not great. Will need to be at her best to win.
Scored for the only time over hurdles on his return from a break at Market Rasen (2m½f, good) in May. A 5lb rise put paid to his chance at Uttoxeter next time. Decent effort on Flat latest and may still be competitive here.
0-5 over hurdes. Looks well treated here based on his 8L second in a Sedgefield handicap hurdle (2m1f, good) in May. Was unable to repeat that at Southwell last time, but if he can bounce back then he could have a big say.
0-29. Well beaten in both recent hurdles runs and readily opposed.
Forecasts
Mitcd (9/5), Strong Team (7/2), Bahrikate (13/2), Hey Listen (7/1), Great Colaci (15/2), Kisumu (10/1), Bell Of The Ball (20/1), Sir Tommy (25/1)
An open contest may go to STRONG TEAM, who looks to be on the sort of mark from which he can win, though he will need to be better than he was at Southwell last time. Great Colaci is respected, along with Hey Listen and Mitcd, though the latter's 10lb rise looks steep enough. Bahrikate should be thereabouts.
