Promising effort on debut in January when running at Ludlow (2m, soft). Stable in reasonably good form and does well with this type of runner. Improvement likely, though may have to wait for other days to win.

Dam 6f winning half-sister to winners Quench Dolly (useful 5f-6f), Gabbiano (5f-6f), Harrison Stickle (5.7f/6f) and Fayre Bella (6f) out of 5f-6f winner. Pedigree suggests this will really test her stamina, but interesting jockey booking.
Boubht for £16,000 after winning an Irish point-to-point in May (third run). Makes rules debut for a stable that is 7% in this sphere over five seasons and a bit quiet at present. Market check.

Pulled up in all three point-to-point runs in the spring. Dam a half-sister to a bumper winner, but this €1,000 three-year-old looks best watched on her rules debut.

Has shown very little in point-to-points or on her rules debut, when a 28L last of seven at Newton Abbot last month. Can only watch.
Not disgraced on debut at Towcester in October, though not as good when last seen at Hereford in November. Stable has had just one bumper winner in five seasons and looks unlikely to double that tally today.

£56,000 three-year-old purchase. In good hands. Improved on her Wincanton debut when 2¾L second at Southwell (1m7½f, good) last month. Looks a serious player in a weak race.

Won an open maiden point-to-point on her fourth and most recent start in that sphere. Since bought for £2,000. Makes rules debut for a stable that is 9% over five season in this sphere. 10lb claimer up and could get involved for the minors.
Has put in three respectable runs so far, the latest of them over C&D (good) last week, when an 8L second. Will need to improve on that to break her duck, but can probably pick up some more prize money.

Forecasts

Skin Deep (4/11), Rose Crown (5/1), Getaway Honey (8/1), Avast Ye (12/1), Angel Moon (14/1), The Boola Bee (14/1), Miss Click (25/1), Pennant Legend (50/1), Overshot (100/1)

Verdict

There is scarcely any depth to this contest and SKIN DEEP looks capable of delivering on the promise that she has shown in her first two starts. Rose Crown could again have a say, while Angel Moon looks a potential improver. It is also worth checking out both Avast Ye and Getaway Honey for any market confidence, given their jockey bookings.
  1. Skin Deep
  2. Rose Crown
  3. Angel Moon
