C&D winner who looks as though he's in good heart this year although he is finding difficulty in getting the job done overall. Turned in another sound effort at Ayr last time (patient tactics employed); travels well needs tender handling.
Has won over C&D in the past but far removed from that sort of form now and has only beaten one rival home in three runs this year. Finished well held again last time at Chester and hard to recommend in this sort of form.
In cracking form last year winning five times all at this distance always travelling well in those races and pouncing late on. The last of that quintet of wins came over C&D off today's mark (last run of 2017); looks a threat here.
Back down to her last winning mark but all of her 5f runs this year have been characterised by a weak finish after travelling well. More than capable of winning something like this but does look half-hearted after travelling well; not one to rely on.
Made her record 1-67 when finishing well held at Hamilton yesterday and even with a quick return today would be opposable with that record .10lb out of the handicap.
Like her stablemate (Spoken Words) ran and was well beaten at Hamilton yesterday and has still to be placed let alone win. Also 10lb out of the handicap and impossible to fancy if she does take her chance.
Forecasts
Eternalist (11/8), Landing Night (13/8), Kinloch Pride (7/2), I'll Be Good (25/1), Trulove (40/1), Spoken Words (50/1)
Only a small field and it could get smaller with two of the runners not certain to run after taking part at Hamilton yesterday and the race could end up a rather messy one with a distinct lack of pace possible. KINLOCH PRIDE had a very good 2017 season can run off her last winning mark here having already scored over this C&D; she may well just be coming to the boil. Landing Knight and Eternalist are both more than capable of scoring in an event like this but doubts remain over their finishing efforts of late and there is every chance they will be outbattled by the suggestion in this sprinting finale.
- Kinloch Pride
- Landing Night
- Eternalist
