Has dropped to a mark (72) that he can win off and this return to 1m gives him a better chance of doing so. Has been rather in-and-out this season but the ability is there to win off this mark if everything drops right.
Not seen since last year when he ran with promise on his first start for this yard (was with Richard Hannon) but never built on that at all. Tongue-tied on all those starts that's retained here as he drops to a career-low mark; others appeal more.
Unbeaten (2-2) over C&D his one defeat here came over 1f further (hampered) and he's always to be respected around here. Found his good run of form coming to an end last time at York; need to bounce back (slipped 4lb below last winning mark).
A return to the yard where he had his major successes has seen him rejuvenated winning twice (both over 7f here) and generally running well. Slow away last time he nearly pulled off another win at Carlisle (1m); best form front-running over 7f.
Yet to really fire this year and on the evidence of his three runs so far has work to do in this with the principals. Her mark is much reduced but she would need to have produced more to be of interest.
Stable have yet to have a winner this year; this mare went close to breaking their maiden for the season last time at Ayr (7f, good). Kept on the same mark (55) she's 12lb below her last winning mark over 7f here; chance if she can build on that.
Twice a course winner (once over C&D) he's well out of the handicap here and faces a rather stiff task having only recently returned from a long break. Well behind Jacob Black in a 7f handicap last time; hard to recommend in this.

Jacob Black has certainly been rejuvenated since returning to the Dalgleish yard but that yard haven’t been firing on all cylinders for much of the year and it may well be that he’s better over 7f than this mile. Mywayistheonlyway needs a strongly run race to be seen at his best as does CHINESE SPIRIT who looks to be coming to the boil now and is off a mark just 1lb above his last winning one. Lucky Violet would be a welcome winner for her yard but she’s better at 7f with Zeshov another to throw in the mix back at a C&D where he is unbeaten.
