Easy winner at Gowran Park (7f) last time out, could be called winner from some way out and although hit with a hefty fine by the handicapper for it, is lightly raced and looks progressive. Extra furlong shouldn't pose an issue and clear chance.
Has been racing over further lately but was a winner over a mile here last August, so conditions clearly no issue. Trainer/jockey combination always to be feared and after a solid effort at Gowran Park last time, looks a player here.
Twice a winner at 7f in the last year but on both occasions those wins have come with plenty of cut in the ground, which she won't be getting here. Poor effort last time out as well, and little to recommend her chances here.
In the frame last three runs and worth a try at a mile given he wasn't stopping at the finish when successful over 7f at Sligo in May. Consistent and should run his race, but may find one or two others a bit too good for him.
One win in 15 starts, but in truth isn't progressing at present and now tries a step up in trip to revive her fortunes. Easily brushed aside at Gowran on latest start and needs to turn things around now. Others preferred.
Only had the five starts but after showing promise on the first couple of them appears to be regressing quickly already, and has been well beaten last two. Better ground here may help, but it's still asking a lot.
Forecasts
Poetic Light (5/4), Premier League (7/2), Iron Blue (9/2), Triple Sec (6/1), Piper Bomb (12/1), Highway To Heaven (16/1)
Only the six runners but this promises to be run at a decent pace. IRON BLUE was most impressive at Gowran Park on her latest start and she may just as well served by a mile as she is shorter. She is the progressive one and can take this en route to better things. Poetic Light looks best of the rest and has course form to his name, never a bad thing here. Premier League can take the bronze medal home.
