Half-brother to recent 7f scorer On A May Day but likely to need this experience on his belated debut. Yard 5-62 with their older horses here and best watched.

Has run to a consistent level all five starts to date, arguably a little disappointing when made a short priced favourite at Naas last time but may have simply bumped into a smart one. This looks another good opportunity to get off the mark.

Finished a well-beaten last of three on debut at Navan last month and little was expected, given his 33-1 price tag. Likely to find others too good for him here.

Beaten big distances at huge prices on both starts to date, and can't realistically be looked at as the winner here.

Half-sister to the useful Miss Carbonia, who won three of her four starts back in 2016, and she wasn't disgraced when finishing midfield at Dundalk on debut (6f). However, that was last September and she's not been seen since, so may need this.

Well beaten on debut at Limerick in early June but clearly learnt plenty from that and finished an eyecatching fifth at Limerick over this trip, staying on nicely late in the day. Each-way chances here if progressing again.

Best run to date came at Navan on her fourth start when front rank all the way and sticking to the task to finish second, but most disappointing latest when fading away to finish well beaten. This is easier, but questions to answer over this trip.

Was getting the hang of things late on her debut at Roscommon (7f) last month but that was only a weak claimer and she needs to have improved plenty to shake the principals up here.

Forecasts

Captain Vancouver (4/11), Scream (7/2), Mountjubilee (9/2), Gloria Thrillo (20/1), Royal Admiral (25/1), The Perch (33/1), Utalkintomeboy (33/1), Droichead Atha (100/1)

Verdict

CAPTAIN VANCOUVER is handed another gilt-edged opportunity to get off the mark and he should be up to the task. He was possibly unlucky to bump into a decent one at Naas last time and can make amends. Scream needs to put a poor effort last time out behind her, but looks the danger. Mountjubilee could reward each-way support.
  1. Captain Vancouver
  2. Scream
  3. Mountjubilee
