Dropped back into a novice contest latest after his 7f Newmarket handicap debut; that 6f Lingfield third has been franked since with the winner Embour scoring next time at Newmarket; solid chance.
Despite winning on heavy ground at Leicester in April (6f), he's proved that he handles quicker conditions with a couple of placed efforts; beaten just over 1L at Windsor latest (6f good to firm); 4lb above last winning mark.
Back from a four month absence with a solid effort at York (7f) last month when beaten a neck by Starlight Romance (third placed Kaeso has finished second since); up 4lb and down in trip but definite shortlist material.
No win since his debut in May 2017 (6f, good), seemingly regressing quickly after a respectable seasonal reappearance at Musselburgh in March (1m, heavy); cheekpieces applied.
Not finished out of the frame in four C&D starts since early May (2,1,1,3), but now racing off a mark 5lb higher than when winning a Class 5 handicap and faces competition for the lead from Big Les.

Forecasts
The Great Wall (6/4), Desert Frost (5/2), Logi (7/2), Bahamian Dollar (5/1), Big Les (6/1), Chookie Dunedin (20/1)
The C&D winners Logi and Big Les are likely to set the early fractions, which could set the race up for one of the others. The Great Wall rates as a leading contender if able to adapt to this drop in trip after a fine comeback run at York last month, but under useful 5lb claimer Cameron Noble the top-weight DESERT FROST is more alluring. There was no disgrace in his latest Lingfield run (form solid) despite being a beaten 7/4f, and unexposed in handicap company, he can provide trainer Saeed Bin Suroor with a rare Hamilton Park success (1/5; 20% course strike-rate in the past five years).
