Promising Intello colt, placed three times over further before improved on fourth start to win 13-runner event at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) last month. Should be more to come over this trip and hard to beat despite penalty.
Nicely bred, with the dam a relative of winners at Listed/Group level. Learned from Leicester debut to be third of eight in Nottingham maiden over this trip last time. Should continue to go the right way.
Sulamani gelding who dam was a winning hurdler/chaser. Yard better known for exploits in those spheres and just 1-15 with Flat runners in previous 12 months.
Dawn Approach gelding, cost 200,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a Listed winner. Just two runs last year, finishing fifth at Kempton (7f, AW) in October on second of those, beaten 9¼L. More called for on return.
Son of Street Cry and a full-brother to winning sprinter Bouquet De Flores, represents top connections and while didn't show too much on debut at Kempton (1m3f, AW) last time, there may be plenty more to come dropped in distance.
Kyllachy filly is a twice-raced maiden. Finished last of 13 in minor event at Goodwood (1m, soft) last time having gone off 66/1 outsider. Not hard to look elsewhere for now.
Holy Roman Emperor filly who cost €10,000 as a foal. Big prices and well beaten in pair of runs over 7f at Newbury and Kempton (AW) so far.
Forecasts
Argentello (2/5), Moving Forward (5/1), Ajddarr (5/1), Dagian (12/1), Bay Dude (50/1), Sheila's Empire (66/1), Koshi (66/1)
ARGENTELLO had shown promising form in three runs over further but the drop to this trip aided him as he opened his account at Yarmouth last month. He will have plenty more to offer as a miler seemingly and should be tough to peg back in the follow-up bid. He meets a modest bunch here, with Nottingham third Ajddarr perhaps most likely to trouble him ahead of Moving Forward, who may improve for Godolphin dropping in trip.
- Argentello
- Ajddarr
- Moving Forward
