Galileo colt, half-brother to Bounding (Australian Group 1 winning sprinter). Dam a Group 3 winner and full-sister to a Group 2 winner. Yard's debutantes can need the run but beautifully bred and market support would be significant.

Dark Angel colt, cost 180,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to five winners and dam a winner over 6f. Yard in form and capable of readying one for debut. Fascinating contender.

Teofilo colt, brother to a winner over further. Likely to want more of a stamina test than this and yard's debutantes often need their debut.

Footstepsinthesand colt, cost €10,000 as a foal. Half-brother to a juvenile winner over 1m. Dam unraced, related to a Grade 1 winner. Interesting enough on paper and market may reveal expectations.

Kodiac colt, cost €120,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to a juvenile winner over 6f and a winner over this trip. Dam a half-sister to a Group 3 winner. Fascinating contender who holds a Group 1 entry for next month. Market can guide.

Coach House colt, cost 17,000 gns as a two-year-old. Dam a half-sister to a juvenile winner over this trip and another useful AW performer. Others make more appeal on pedigree.

Excelebration gelding, half-brother to a winner over this trip. Dam a winner and sister to talented Group 3 winner Eye Of The Storm. Not a good sign he's already been subject to a gelding operation and others preferred.

Galileo colt, brother to a US Grade 3 winner, half-brother to a Group 2 winning sprinter. Dam a three-time Grade 1 winner over this trip and 1m. Makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and he's the pick of stable jockey Moore.

12/1
Galileo colt, full-brother to a Derby winner and half-brother to high class Group 1 winner Duke Of Marmalade. Dam placed in Listed company. Likely to be in need of a bit further than this but hard to put a line through given his high class pedigree.

5/2
Zoffany colt, half-brother to a winner over 1m3f and dam a winner over 1m4f. May want further than this and sire's progeny like a bit of juice in the ground as a general rule.

Forecasts

Zorabad (5/2), Mount Everest (11/4), Giga White (7/2), Anthony Van Dyck (7/1), Norway (12/1), Guaranteed (14/1), Klute (20/1), Howling Ridge (20/1), Kodi Dream (40/1), Live Show (80/1)

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won five of the eight runnings of this contest and his trio look like fascinating contends on paper. Ryan Moore opts for MOUNT EVEREST and with plenty of speed in his pedigree, there's every chance he will be well suited to this test. Stablemate Anthony Van Dyck is another who makes plenty of appeal given his pedigree. Klute may prove best of the rest for a yard that has had some success with debutantes.
  1. Mount Everest
  2. Anthony Van Dyck
  3. Klute
