Regular in top 7f handicaps in recent seasons, and reliable on the whole, but he's struggled for form this year and has looked a hard ride on his last couple of starts. Others preferred at present.
All three wins have come on Polytrack at Lingfield, and off for 20 months before his return at Chelmsford, where he failed to beat a rival. Will probably be much fitter now, but has something to prove regardless.
Better on AW than Turf, but mark reflects that, and he ran very well when head second of 15 to Spanish City at Doncaster last time. Looks to have an excellent chance of going one better here.
Back on track on last two outings, finishing second at Catterick (7f) and Ayr (6f), and clearly capable of winning from current mark. Dangerous when allowed to dictate, and chance he can do that in this field.
Runner-up at Redcar before winning this race 12 months ago, and 2lb lower now. Possibly still needed run when down the field in same Redcar contest this year, so not written off, for all he's hard to win with these days.
Impressive winner of 7f maiden at Newmarket, but failed to repeat that form subsequently in 2017. Shaped well when fourth over 1m here on return, however, and despite being out of the weights, is 14lb lower than her initial handicap mark.

Ower Fly (5/2), Mazzini (11/4), Dance Teacher (7/2), Lady Freyja (4/1), Race Day (11/2), Squats (15/2), Horsted Keynes (8/1)
MAZZINI was back to his best when beaten narrowly at Doncaster last time, and should take the beating if in the same form, although Ower Fly would be dangerous if getting an uncontested lead. Lady Freyja is eligible for lesser races, so it may be significant that John Ryan lets her run from out of the handicap, and an entry in the International Stakes at Ascot next month takes the eye.
