Winner of two of his four starts including over 1m at Chelmsford last time out. Races off a 4lb higher mark here and is one for the shortlist on his return to turf.
Novice stakes winner at Salisbury (1m, good-to-soft) last September and ran well when finishing second over the same distance at Ascot (good-to-firm) on handicap and seasonal bow last month. Of interest despite a 3lb rise in the weights.
Good efforts on all three starts this term including when a neck second over 1m at Haydock (good-to-firm) last time out. Races off a 1lb higher mark on this occasion.
Successful over 6f at Newcastle in March and has put in a couple of sound efforts since most recently when 2L third at Sandown (7f, good-to-firm) earlier this month. Interesting to see how he fares upped in trip.
Dual winner this spring including in a novice contest over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton last month. Held in a valuable handicap on handicap bow subsequently however.
Forecasts
Al Jellaby (5/4), Ulshaw Bridge (7/2), Bullingdon (4/1), Adjutant (6/1), Myboyhenry (12/1)
AL JELLABY ran well to finish runner-up in a highly competitive handicap last time out and he can go one better in this five runner affair. The selection remains open to improvement and can get the better of top weight Bullingdon who was a winner on the AW last time out. Ulshaw Bridge, runner-up at Haydock earlier this month can claim third.
