High Chaparral colt, cost €100,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to a Group 2 winner. Has struggled in both starts to date and needs to come on markedly for his reappearance when behind National Security to have a say here.
Galileo colt, closely related to a Group 2 winner over 1m and dam was a dual Guineas winner. Struggled when 11th of 14 on debut at Dundalk but a big step forward looks likely from that effort. Market support would be significant and should run well.

Kyllachy colt, cost 100,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to three winners. Ran with promise on debut behind the subsequent 2,000 Guineas winner and not disgraced on return at Limerick last time. May come on for that.

Teofilo colt, dam a winner and half-sister to a Group 2 winner. Finished ahead of Far Reach at Navan last time in maiden company and not disgraced in a Listed race the time before. Sets a solid standard. Wears first-time tongue-tie.

Invincible Spirit colt, cost 150,000 gns as a yearling. Ran well on debut at Roscommon and likely to come on plenty for that. First-string on jockey bookings and not ruled out.

Redoute's Choice filly, dam a half-sister to Irish St Leger winner. Green on debut but plenty to like about the way she stayed on to finish fourth of 14 and likely to be in the shake up here.

Forecasts

Kisanga (3/1), National Security (3/1), Foreign Secretary (3/1), Fridtjof Nansen (5/1), Persian Lion (5/1), National Wealth (6/1), Far Reach (16/1), Endearing'son (25/1)

Verdict

FOREIGN SECRETARY is beautifully bred and there's every chance he will take a big step forward form his Dundalk debut in typical style for this yard. National Security just about sets the standard on form but Kisanga may prove to be the main danger after her promising debut at Naas last time.
  1. Foreign Secretary
  2. Kisanga
  3. National Security
