Firm favourite with the crowd here winning four times over C&D and despite having most weight looks the one they have to beat. Already run two good races here earlier this term and only negative is his wide draw.
Winner of seven races to date but has finished last on each of his two most recent visits here having fared better previously. Plum draw and likes to front run so having finished runner-up last three starts has genuine claims.
Talented when in the mood as he showed last year when fourth in Great St Wilfird Handicap at Ripon, but has refused to race last twice and is a risky betting proposition. Second start for new yard.
0-9 here over the years but has won seven elsewhere. Struggling to make an impression in handicaps but not out of it if recpaturing something of his old form.
Second start for current handler having previously been trained by Tom Dascombe. Very lightly race last few years and appears to face a very tough task at the weights in serach of first win.
First run on turf for best part of three years. Won on AW at Wolverhampton in February off a mark of 59, so has masses to find on these terms with the likely market principals.
Low grade handicapper won at Southwell 15 months ago on Fibresand. Faces a very stiff tasks on these terms and victory would be a big surprise.
Nine-year-old ex-Irish maiden who has shown nothing for current handler since returning from three years on the sidelines. Impossible to enthuse over.
42-race maiden who has struggled at a much lower level. Hard to imagine her breaking her duck on these terms.

There is a lot of dead wood in this race and it's hard to get away form the claims of course specialist SOUND ADVICE who has already run two good races here this term in defeat. He has the most weight but would be giving away lumps to most rivals if this was a handicap. Snap Shots has become a tricky customer and refused to race in his two most recent starts, but if he fancies the job it wouldn't surprise to see him make a race of it as he is talented. Call Out Loud has place prospects once again, as too does Rene Mathis, and another bold show from Mujassam is not out of the question either.
