Given some tough tasks over fences and this is another one for this very exposed maiden who looks set to struggle at these weights again. Finished a distant 4th last time and will do well to better that here.
Cheekpieces go on for the first time but he's shown very little aptitude/ability over fences under Rules having been a runner-up in point-to-points. Faces a very hard/difficult task here.
The winner of the opener on this card last year he faces a far harder task to win this on his chasing debut. The fact that he won his only race here makes him of interest but in reality a place is the best he can hope for.
Hard to construct much of a case for this one with a very poor 5th of seven over C&D last time out to his name. Looks a temperamental sort and very stiff task on official ratings.
Yet to match his hurdles form over fences but looks the sort who can and will do at some stage having finished a very creditable third last time out at Punchestown over this trip. Likes to front run and will be dangerous with an easy lead.
Useful enough over hurdles he looked in one of his better moods when winning at Market Rasen in May (looked suited by forcing tactics). Not quite in the same frame of mind or form since then but does have chasing experience.
Unreliable sort who is of little account and finished well beaten over C&D last time and has more letters than numbers in his form figures.

Forecasts
Souriyan (4/5), Dear Sire (11/10), Prince Garyantle (5/4), Its Pandorama (8/1), Daydream Island (66/1), Hard Knocks (100/1), Sussex Road (150/1), Luca Brazi (150/1)
Not many will have a chance of winning this but an interesting heat nonetheless with the Irish challenger PRINCE GARYANTLE given a narrow preference having already had some chasing experience plus he could get the run of the race; front-runners go well here. Dear Sire will prove a good opponent though as he switches to fences although this trip may stretch his stamina. Souriyan has previous chasing experience but he can be a rather moody sort and much will depend on which version on him turns up. It’s Pandorama is the only one who could disturb the main three but his chasing debut is a tough one.
