Cheekpieces looked to have been the cause of the upturn in his form when winning at Sedgefield (over fences). Not seen in the same sort of form since then and never got involved in a better class race last time over hurdles (2nd run since wind op).
Twice a course winner he failed to come on for a recent run when well behind over a shorter trip last time. This represents a drop in grade for a yard that do well here but still an unsafe proposition.
There looked to be some promise in his runs that gained him a handicap mark over much shorter trip but he didn't get the chance to show much on handicap debut. Fell 7th over C&D and now tries again off the same mark.
Prominent racer whose recent form for this yard is uninspiring although she does now return from a break that may have refreshed. Slipped way below her last winning mark if she can find her form; one to note in the market.
Has left James Ewart and running reasonable well for her new yard having had two starts for them so far (finished 3rd both times). Does have a chance off this weight over the longest trip that she's tried; jockey booking takes the eye.
Given his previous form he's well treated in this with the change of stables another plus point (champion jockey also booked). Travels well in his races and his last win came in this 0-100 company; no surprise to see him well supported.
Hard to say that he's really taken to hurdles (0/8) with most of his form including in handicaps looking modest. Now tries a longer trip (won over 1m4f on the Flat) but hard to support on the evidence shown so far.
Not the most reliable but did run well enough last time when not seen to best effect at Uttoxeter over shorter (given too much to do). Upped in trip and off the same mark now this gives him a chance of breaking his maiden.
Would have a chance in this based on her bumper form although she has shown very little over hurdles including on her handicap debut last time out. This run may reveal more but hard to support on what she has shown so far.
Starts out for a new stable having ended his career with the old yard with an inauspicious Flat run. Off a mark that is dramatically lower than the one he won off but that was a while ago; best watched for now.
Given a run in a point-to-point before finishing a creditable 8th over C&D last time (Flemish Maid 3rd) but still looking a little rusty. Not easy to win with but now with a tongue-tie on for the first time and not totally dismissed.
Has some fair bumper form to her name but has yet to transfer that "promise" into her hurdles starts. Hinted at a revival last time in a C&D selling handicap (behind Honeychile Ryder); interesting to see what she can do for this new yard.

Rose Tree (5/2), Apachee Prince (9/2), Hermanus (5/1), Handy Hollow (7/1), Flemish Maid (8/1), Banny's Lad (10/1), It's Buster (12/1), Honeychile Ryder (12/1), Minnie Milan (14/1), Notnowsam (14/1), Justatenner (16/1), Smart Ruler (16/1), Mick The Poser (25/1), It's All About Me (40/1)
Only a low-grade affair but there look to be one or two in this who are worth watching if supported and the market for this could prove informative. Apachee Prince is one that could well see some money having his first run for the Murphy/Johnson combination that are often successful with this sort with Minnie Milan another worth watching for market guidance. Hermanus can’t be ruled out of this and neither can Handy Hollow who showed more last time out at Uttoxeter with this longer trip looking to help him. FLEMISH MAID is the suggestion though after her good C&D run last time with a little more to come. Rose Tree and Notnowsam two others of interest in an open contest.
- Flemish Maid
- Apachee Prince
- Handy Hollow
