Showed a glimmer of promise in two bumper runs (looked a long term project) but left his hurdling debut well behind when tried on quick ground her last time. The trip (2m1f) did look on the short side though and this test will suit far better.

Showed some fair form in staying contests on the Flat looked to have something to work on after making her hurdles debut at Hexham (2m, good). This stiffer test will suit and not out of this on her debut for this yard.

Those towards the head of the market don’t look anything special with Sonic having fallen in a two-horse affair last time out and The Steward having been touched off on three occasions and looking as he might struggle to get this trip. Listentothewomen and Rubenesque the two mares in the field are both worth keeping an eye on for a market move.
