Iffraaj gelding who's price rose from €50,000 as a foal to £68,000 as a yearling. Plenty to like about his debut run in a Lingfield novice contest earlier this month on good to firm when finishing third of nine beaten 2¼L. Enters calculations.

Filly by Epiulette out of a Intikhab mare. Hood applied on debut for the Irish raider must be a major concern.

76,000,000yen yearling (around £500,000); closely related to Japanese 1m/1m1f winner realist, out of French Listed-placed 6½f-1m winner. Will look to build on encouraging run on debut at Ripon recently.

Forecasts

Desert Fire (4/7), Saint Diana (3/1), Moved (8/1), Agincourt (16/1), Jimmy Geronimo (33/1), Qasr (40/1), Duquesa Beach (50/1)

Verdict

The opening came too late for the William Haggas-trained SAINT DIANA at Ripon earlier this month when caught in a pocket over 1m on good ground but can gain a change in luck here to get of the mark despite the attentions of the Godolphin runner Desert Fire who will look to build on his promising debut at Yarmouth recently. Agincourt, in the colours of Sir Robert Ogden and the promising Moved can battle for the remaining place.
  1. Saint Diana
  2. Desert Fire
  3. Moved
