C&D winner who won a Killarney novice chase back in July 2017 but has largely struggled since including being pulled-up on his last two starts. Out of sorts recently but could go well at a big price.
Followed up a good second at Ballinrobe with a gutsy win at Listowel over this trip off a 4lb lower mark. Beaten latest over inadequate 2m and should produce better back at this distance.
Has won two of his 14 chase starts, the last coming in a Cork novice contest over 2m4f in October 2017 off a 6lb lower mark. Looked happier on the quicker ground last month when second of eight in a Limerick mares chase.
Winner of a Downpatrick handicap chase over 3m on good ground earlier this month and enters calculations here off a 4lb higher mark for leading trainer/jockey combination.
Well beaten and never nearer in in a couple of handicap chases recently over 2m and 2m7f. Plenty more needed in this group.
Eventually a disappointment for trainer-Paul Nicholls and well held in a couple of starts for new connections. Hard to place any faith in.
Six from 26 over the larger obstacles and without a win since November. Game sort but is still racing 11lb higher than last winning mark. Others preferred.
C&D winner here in May when landing a beginners contest on chasing debut last month before finishing fourth of five when stepped up to novice chasing at Wexford earlier this month. Expected to improve on that run.
93-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer Dermot Weld but is without success for new connections over fences putting in some poor rounds of jumping. Opposable on recent form.
Signs of a return to form when second of 12 beaten ½L here earlier this month over 3m1f. Big drop in trip here, first-time blinkers applied and market likely to be the best guide.

C&D winner STEEL WAVE won a beginners contest on chasing debut last month before finishing fourth of five when stepped up to novice chasing at Wexford earlier this month and can improve on that run to triumph here on handicap debut. The inconsistent Teachers Pet, course and last time out winner Cecil Corbett can compete for the placings while Conrad Hastings and Draycott Place could go well at double figure prices.
