Not much to shout about in a number of dismal performances last year before finishing eighth of 18 beaten over 9L on seasonal debut in a Listowel maiden hurdle earlier this month. Others preferred.
C&D winner of this race last year but has been badly out of form since winning a Fairyhouse handicap hurdle in November off a 3lb lower mark. Looks opposable with ground concerns.
Well beaten and no impression in four maiden hurdle disappointments to date including an 8½L defeat behind Ingleby Mackenzie earlier this month at Tramore. Can improve on that run in this company.
Poor form in a number of point-to-point appearances but may have prospects based on his second of 18 in a Thurles handicap hurdle in October. First time blinkers may assist.
Much improved form when upped in trip at Tipperary last month on handicap hurdle debut when second of 20 beaten 2½L. Plenty of room for improvement once again.
Nothing of note in six below-par displays since February and difficult to predict any light at the end of the tunnel just yet.

Poor run of form is there for all to see showing nothing in three starts this season. Hard to fancy.
Has disappointed connections in a series of gloomy displays since May. Difficult to see what improvement first time blinkers will bring in this contest.
Will have to reproduce the form when second of 13 beaten 4L in a Downpatrick handicap hurdle in October to play a role here following two dispiriting starts this term. First time blinkers unlikely to make much difference.
Running in point-to-points recently and last seen running under rules in September 2016. Very little to be positive about.
Well beaten in two starts since January when returning to the track following a 18-month break. Others hold stronger profiles.

MAIFITZ'S MADONNA improved when upped in trip at Tipperary last month on handicap hurdle debut finishing second of 20 beaten 2½L and there is plenty of room for improvement once again in this company. The Milan mare can see off the attentions of promising handicapper Mohart, first-time blinkered Whoyakodding and last years winner Queeny who are all capable of hitting the frame.
