42,000 gns half-sister to useful middle-distance handicapper Levanto. Off since looking green on debut in 2016 and hard to see her figuring after such a beak.

Made further progress when dropped in grade last time and more likely here given an extra furlong to travel.

Sent off at 100/1 when noted made eyecatching late headway at Leicester. Winners in the pedigree and stable have a good strike rate (12-49) here.

Went down narrowly on debut but failed to build on that when refusing to settle at Kempton. No aids fitted and he can ill afford to be as keen over the extra furlong.

Bred to want further than this and shaped very much as though that was the case when 25/1 on debut.

Has disappointed more than once and master trainer (9-25 here) drops her back to a mile in a bid to enhance her paddock value.

Cheaply bought Dick Turpin half-sister to four winners. Yard don't have many winning debutantes and she is highly tried on debut.

Filly by Shamardal out of an unraced dam (Sweet Rose) who made some moderate late progress on only start last year. Big step forward required and may need further in time.

Forecasts

Cosmic Love (7/4), Motajaasid (9/4), Sweet Lady Rose (15/2), Doctor Wonderful (8/1), Radar Days (10/1), Rippling Waters (11/1), Classified (11/1), Highway Bess (50/1), Masons Belle (100/1)

Verdict

RIPPLING WATERS was not disgraced in Listed company before finding the drop to 7f against her at Lingfield. She merits the vote on form and with an extra furlong to help. Owen Burrows, who had the winner of that Lingfield race, saddles Motajaasid who failed to settle when running below the levels he set on debut. The market should be informative regarding his prospects, whilst Cosmic Love should not be far away back down to a mile.
  1. Rippling Waters
  2. Cosmic Love
  3. Motajaasid
