Really well backed when only able to finish fourth at Market Rasen (3m, good) last month. Needs to do more but dropped a couple of pounds and more than capable of bouncing back to form in this grade.
Ran consistently well last season but struggled to get his head in front. Handicapper is finally starting to cut him some slack and he has had a wind operation since his sole start this year. Dangerous if bouncing back to form.
Last win came over this C&D off a 3lb higher mark back in September. Form tailed off somewhat after that but should be cherry ripe after a couple of recent spins and strong claims from a handicapping perspective back here.
C&D winner off 1lb higher last April. Has been a tail of woe wince though and has only managed to complete on his most recent start. Should come on for that but tough to recommend.
Had started to look disappointing over fences until winning at Towcester last month when made favourite appearing to suit the sounder surface. May be a different proposition now he's got his head in front and respected
Well beaten in second in a three-runner race at Wincanton (3m2½f, good) last month on final start for Paul Nicholls. Starting to look dangerously handicapped on first start for new yard and rider knows him well.
Talented point-to-pointer/chaser that returned to action under rules when beaten about 5½L at Down Patrick last week. This race is weaker so not ruled out under conditions that should suit.

More Buck's (11/4), Minella Scamp (11/4), Pickamix (3/1), Always On The Run (5/1), Blue Kascade (7/1), Jovial Joey (10/1), Quiet Account (14/1), The Clock Leary (16/1)
You can make a case for plenty of these from one angle or another. Irish raider Quiet Account went well in a better race than this last week and is respected. More Buck's is dangerously well handicapped and will be a player if the change of scenery has perked him up. Slight preference is for THE CLOCK LEARY who goes well here and is on a good mark now with Brian Hughes on board.
- The Clock Leary
- Quiet Account
- More Buck's
